My 2022 RUclips Sports Card HOF Votes
I truly believe that Doug Allen and Bill Mastro stole Lionel's cards. They are absolutely disgusting people who are now known as convicted frauds.
Ill trade u a pack of 1990. Topps baseball for all of em or 2$ for all those deal?
So your dead huh thats cool i guess
Great video man! I actually saw a T206 O’Hara STL at my regional show in May. Couldnt believe it. SO wouldve pulled the trigger if I wasnt gunning for the green background T206 Cobb in Cleveland!
Also, I found a a few of these cards when I bought a store unit from an auction 3 months ago in Fairhope, AL.
Nice! Which ones?
Great info
I love the video thumbnail.
Great video with some very useful information. Definitely learned some new information that I hadn’t been aware of prior.
Great cards and info. Enjoyed!
Thanks
Great video. Love the T207 set
Thanks for the info! When I'm checking out antique shops I'm looking for anything that shows baseball!
Always fun to hunt at antique stores.
Great video! Incredible research and fun card hunting information. Always solid content from your channel.
Thanks!
Great info!
Awesome video with great information, thanks for sharing
That is a beautiful card!!! 👍
Great list. I think the Butkus rookie above the LT but can’t complain!
Probably the most iconic set in the hobby. The colors and presentation are fantastic! Totally agree, eye appeal trumps the technical grade. And yes, I can’t stand creases! The backs mean nothing to me, I am perfectly happy with all Piedmonts (available at much lower prices compared to some of the scarce-rare backs). I display the front of my cards, not the backs. :) Really good video, thanks much.
You own almost every Barry Larkin card in existence, I may have some you don't have...i bought a collection of just 90's inserts and some crazy ones in it...
What were the Larkin inserts in the collection?
I'm a third of the way through your video, I stopped, liked, then subscribed. Non-sports has so much to offer. People would be better informed about our world knowing a little history.
Glad you enjoyed
Excellent looking UZIT! Looks better than 1.5. I think PSA has a lower pop than Drum but they are close. Awesome pick up.
Subscribed. Just got back into the hobby since the 90s. My God, these cards have gone up so much. I have a E96 Mordecai Brown I bought in 1998 for 100 bucks. Dean's on ebay wants 2,000 for one. 😮Great video
Thanks for the sub! Yeah Pre-War card prices have risen the last few years, although Dean's cards aren't a true indicator for value. He tends to ask 2-3x what a card is worth.
These lists shouldn't be the lowest print run or most costly. An excel spreadsheet can rank the lowest print runs and requires no thought. There's plenty of cards with higher print runs that are more aesthetically pleasing than crap like Circa Thunder Rave Reviews or Fleer Tradition Starting Nine. Hell, I'll take 1999 Upper Deck Ovation and HoloGrFX BASE CARDS over those.
Very cool-- thanks for sharing!
There's actually a 3100 mile race called the self transcendence race. They're given 52 days to complete the race
Dood a UZIT?!? NICE MAN!!
I need the George Brett elite
Boom! Congratulations!
Great T206 Nap! Looks awesome for the grade. The Uzit back is super cool! Congrats on the great pickups! Thanks for sharing!
You got some wonderful pickups. Very nice Nap Lajoie upgrade. Also, thanks for the info & comparison about the Uzit card population
Fantastic cards and info - As a lifelong Tribe fan, I really need to add a Nap to my collection! Thanks for sharing!
Bravo.
Wow. Huge pickups. Thanks for sharing and congrats!
Beautiful Nap! Congrats!
That Nap is amazing... been watching you for sometime, finally commented, appreciate the knowledge too on Uzit vs Drum...cheers!!
Wow! Amazing Nap! Congratulations on added it to your PC
That is a gorgeous Lajoie! and your other is also very nice . I want to thank you as I have been looking for a big card to add to my collection as I got a nice gift from my wife for my birthday and I forgot how much I liked the T206 portrait Lajoie until I saw your two beauties. I have a pretty big collection but was having trouble getting excited about any possible buys. Thanks for the help.
It’s great one to go after
Awesome pickups. Congrats
sick cards. Nothing like vintage. Man I wish I invested in the tobacco cards back the early 2000's. I guess its the same with Bitcoin at a $1 lol
Uzit back is siiiiick
Those are 2 fantastic cards. Congratulations
Great to see another episode of this Ben.
Fantastic pickups. Man the new essential is insane. I’ll NEVER get the Maddux. It’s /3 Haha. Believe it or not, I like the 99 EC’s. The silver ones way more than gold I like how the swoop matches team color
That's a dream pickup, congrats man. I don't think it gets better than that. I'd consider the '98 now to be his best non 1/1 and maybe the best overall Larkin period. Meanwhile, I'll keep dreaming for mine... - RiceBondsMntna2Young
Congrats on the Larkin Essential Credentials. Phenomenal card and pairing
Great video, Ben. Not sure you have seen this one but check out the '56 Topps Dave Pope. He is depicted catching a ball up against the right field wall. In fact, this was an attempted catch of the walk off home run hit by Dusty Rhodes in G1 of the '54 Series. Just subscribed. Looking forward to following you now.
I didn't know that!
Very interesting information. I really like the Ruth card with the carrier pigeon. You are right about the Hubbs/Ellsworth card being dark. The odd thing is that Ellsworth was a pitcher, and the card shows him in an infielder's pose. // One of my favorite cards like that is the 1970 Jim Fregosi card. There is a pickup truck behind Fregosi on that card. From what I read, that truck was Fregosi's, and he would not let the photographer take his picture unless the truck was in the photo. Not sure if it is true, but it's still a good story. // I enjoyed your video.
Interesting stories, thank you.
I really loved this video so I'm a new sub now
These were some wild cards! Interesting to see how the story of a photo changes depending on how you crop it! Crazy to think that pigeons were still being used in the 20's! Super interesting video, thanks for sharing!
Great video
